Progression
Slayers 2 Slayer Progression
The task chain for the human path: breathing → trainer → quest → final selection → skill tree → weapon.
This chain takes you from a fresh character to a finished Slayer build. Each step links to the page that covers it; exact names and numbers are labelled as they are verified.
The Slayer chain
- Choose the Slayer path — your character stays human and trains swordsmanship.
- Learn a Breathing Style — the 8 styles are acquired through training quests, not the menu. See the style list.
- Pick your style early — Thunder, Sound and Snake are the community-favoured launch styles; Water and Insect rank lowest.
- Level and spend skill points — 3 per level in the skill tree, favouring the Slayer branches.
- Slot a matching clan — Rengoku (Flame), Agatsuma (Thunder), Kocho (Insect) and Shinazugawa (does not need Wind) change how the build plays. See clans.
- Equip Slayer weapons — 3 weapon types exist on the path; details on the weapons page.
